About Melissa

Melissa Scharn-Meijer (1984) has been active in IT since 2013 as software developer with a background in user experience design. She has more than 20 years of working experience where in her early career she worked in finance. In her time working for media and advertisement she decided to get a degree in Arts and science. There she developed her combination of creative and logical thinking that is unique and useful for software development in the bigger picture.

Since 2019 she worked for the Dutch Aerospace Center as a software engineer bringing all of her qualities and skills together in scientific projects.

After moving to the Dutch Caribbean in august of 2021 Melissa has been working together with her partner Michael and they founded Dushi IT. Melissa is now supporting companies and developing her own software projects as an advisor, teacher and developer.

About Michael

Michael Scharn (1978) has been working in the IT and Telecom sector for more than 24 years and since 2006 as an entrepreneur building his own business. He has been a driving force in the success of his company Tallgrass and that of his clients who needed guidance for their business.

Michael has a technical background which he can combine with extensive business experience to fuse technology and business such a way it will work optimal for the whole company and create value.

Since 2020 he has been supporting businesses as an advisor on strategy, business development, merger and acquisition and more.

After moving to the Dutch Caribbean in August of 2021 Michael has been working together with his partner Melissa where they started Dushi IT. He has continued his work and is also developing new projects with Melissa.
